PS Heart failure ?

Englische Miniatur aus dem 12. Jh.
A symbolic presentation of cellular events during progression of heart failure is given by this English miniature of the 12th century - Myocardial cells struggle to evade apoptosis and necrosis. Fibroblasts and macrophages survive and promote progression of heart failure by inducing fibrosis.
